Google Shutting Down Chrome Parental Control, Replacement Due Later This Year

In an e-mail to its users of parental command characteristic on Chrome, Google informed that the visitor is shutting downward its current parental control features which the visitor introduced back in 2013 nether the proper name of "Chrome Supervised Users".

The email further read that starting January 12, 2018, users will no longer be able to create or re-import supervised users. That said, they will nevertheless be able to utilise their existing Chrome Supervised Users on Chromebooks, Windows, Mac, and Linux. Also, starting Jan fifteen, 2018, users volition neither be able to remotely suspend supervision nor volition they be immune to modify browsing restrictions for existing supervised users.

As a temporary solution, Google asked its current users of parental control features to use its new Family unit Link feature that the company introduced dorsum in September 2017. The Family Link feature allows users to create a split Google account for their child and manage and supervise their browsing feel on Chrome and Android.

That said, the Family Link feature is currently only bachelor in a select few countries which include U.s.a., Commonwealth of australia, Republic of ireland, and New Zealand.
